TAX SUPERVISOR - $72K - $80K + O/T and bonus

One of the highest ranked Public Accounting firms in Los Angeles seeks experienced Tax Supervisor for San Fernando Valley office. Responsibilities include: Federal and state tax return reviews for individual and corporations, handling tax engagements from start to finish, training and developing of staff, work with clients to resolve tax issues, research and developing solutions to complex tax issues, communicating project status to team members and upper level management.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 3-5 years experience working in public accounting within a Tax Department. CPA finished or in-progress. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.


ACCOUNTING CLERKS (MUSIC ROYALTY SPECIALISTS) - $45K - $65K+ DOE

Looking for two music royalty accounting professionals - entry level (one year experience) at $45,000 and a senior clerk (3+ years experience) at $60-65,000K+ DOE.

Job Responsibilities:
•Input/maintain all vendors contracts in the Excel spreadsheet
•Setup/maintain various schedules (e.g. promotional/payment status, etc)
•Process monthly royalty accruals - international
•Review/process monthly and quarterly royalty statements/payments in compliance to the contract terms
•Post/close monthly/quarterly royalty statements
•Prepare/review monthly/quarterly wire requests
•Handle all correspondence and all issues related to statements
•Special assignments as required
•Mail statements to content providers
•Filing of all pertinent contract information and agreements

Advanced MS Excel skills and a BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or related Field required.

Music Royalty Positions!

SENIOR ROYALTY ANALYST - $60K-$70K

Senior analyst needed for royalty operations accounts with experience in music licensing. Analyze and interpret contracts and deal memos, create and maintain rate structures in royalty system, audit royalty statements, request and issue payments for artists and other royalty participants, communicate with other departments including A&R Administration, Legal & Business Affairs, and Finance, respond to artist and management inquiries and special projects as needed. A generally heavy workload with monthly and statement cycle deadlines. MS Office proficient with 3-5 years experience. College degree preferred.


JUNIOR ROYALTY ANALYST - $45K-$50K

Entry level position in royalty operations department to assist in general contract and deal memo analysis, audit royalty statements, communicate directly with artists and managers and work on special projects as needed. MS Office proficient with 1-2 years experience. College degree preferred.
